Internships
Discover Internships in New Orleans
Internships are a critical component of any student’s postsecondary learning experience, providing opportunities for students to apply their real-world professional experiences to the theories, skills, and best practices they have learned in the classroom environment. These days it is very common for any given student to have multiple internships under their belt by the time they graduate from college.
Greater New Orleans offers students from all schools a diverse array of internship experiences at large and small companies alike – and many are eligible for college credit. Through their career services office or via their own company research, students can easily find internships that best align with their professional goals in business and professional services, engineering and manufacturing, healthcare, technology, nonprofits and creative industries, and more. All they need to do is show up (on time!) with the right attitude, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn, and they may very well be paving the way for their long-term career path – possibly with that very same company.
